How to Get a Scooter in Kukirin Life
Every player starts with a free G2 scooter. Buy better ones at the dealership NPC or pull them from cash crates, then spawn and ride.
You don't have to unlock anything for your first ride in Kukirin Life: every player already owns a free G2 scooter in their rides collection when the game starts. The shortest path to a usable scooter costs nothing — spawn that G2 into the world and ride it. From there, two confirmed routes get you something better: buying a scooter at the dealership by talking to its NPC (a new scooter was shown there for 12,000 in-game cash, with a Robux purchase also offered) or opening cash crates — one demonstrated 2,000-cash crate pull produced a G4.

Every route to a scooter at a glance
| Route | What you need | What it gets you |
|---|---|---|
| Free G2 | Nothing — you own it from the start | A rideable scooter the moment you spawn it in |
| Dealership | Travel there and talk to the NPC; in-game cash (a new scooter shown at 12,000) or the offered Robux option | Better models — the G4 is tied to the dealership, and the G4 Ultra is named the fastest in the game |
| Crates | In-game cash (a 2,000-cash crate was demonstrated) | A random pull; the one crate shown on camera contained a G4 the player confirmed was "actually faster" |
Your first ride is free
Open your rides collection from the game's menu and the G2 is already there waiting — the full-game guide's narrator points to it as the starting point: "You will have a free G2… in the game." Kukirin Life offers multiple scooter models to upgrade through from that baseline, so treat the G2 not as a hurdle but as your ticket to start earning cash for the routes below.
Route 1: Buy a better scooter at the dealership
- Head to the dealership. Open your map and look for it — available guides don't pin down its exact position or walking directions, so plan on finding it visually in your own session.
- Talk to the NPC standing there. This is where better scooters are gotten. A second, independent gameplay guide walks the same steps, calling the place the "sales agency": go there and "talk to the character inside the game."
- Pay. One guide shows a new scooter there priced at 12,000 in-game cash. A Robux purchase option is also offered at the same spot — the creator of that guide calls it "kind of pay-to-win," so the cash route is the normal one.
When the purchase is done, the scooter is yours to spawn and ride (see below).
Route 2: Open crates with cash
- Save up some cash first. The demonstrated pull was made with 2,000 cash earned purely from gameplay.
- Go to the crates option, which the guide says can be opened for cash, and buy one.
- Open it and check the pull. In the crate shown on camera, the player pulled a G4 and confirmed, "Got the G4. So, this one is actually faster."
One caution before you spend: that is a single successful pull on camera, the contents appear random, and no odds are documented — a crate is not guaranteed to contain a scooter at all. Crates are also where battery and motor upgrades come from, per the same guide, so even a non-scooter pull can feed into your setup.
Paying for it: where the cash comes from
Both paid routes run on in-game cash earned by playing. Rideout spots and events spawn on the map during the day — you'll see a big orange circle marking them — and tricks done during events pay double cash, with crazier tricks paying more. Raising the police difficulty also increases payouts. The guide's narrator climbs from 800 cash toward the roughly 1,000 he says he needs, then reaches 2,000 — exactly the amount he spends on the crate above. The full earning loop is covered in the Kukirin Life money guide, and when codes are available they can top up your balance too — the codes page tracks what's currently live.
Spawn the scooter and ride
Owning a scooter and riding it are two different steps. Spawn your scooter into the world first — the narrator does exactly this before customizing it ("let me spawn this in real quick") — and it stands ready to ride or tune. Once it's out, the demonstrated control scheme is: hold Control, keep clicking the up-arrow key, and slowly push W — the inputs he uses to accelerate and pop wheelies.
Whether a freshly bought scooter spawns automatically isn't shown in the available footage, so if nothing appears after a purchase, open your rides collection and spawn it from there. Once it's out, you can change its color at the tuning shop — the customization guide covers that side of things.
If a scooter won't show up
- Check you actually own one. Every account has the free G2, so a missing ride usually means it hasn't been spawned yet, not that you don't have one.
- Spawn it into the world from your rides collection before looking for it on the street.
- Can't afford the upgrade? Crates were demonstrated at 2,000 cash and a new dealership scooter at 12,000 — farm events and tricks until you're close, rather than buying prematurely.
- Can't find the dealership? Scan your map for it; its exact position isn't established by the guides available, so expect to locate it visually once and remember the spot.
Next step: a faster scooter
With a working scooter under you and cash coming in from events, the natural next goal is speed — the G4 Ultra is already named the fastest ride in the game. The fast scooter guide breaks down the quicker options and how to get them.
