How to Earn Money
The demonstrated cash loop in Kukirin Life: spawn on the free G2, wheelie next to police, hit orange-circle events for double cash, and spend it on crates.
The demonstrated way to earn money in Kukirin Life is trick riding around the police: hold a wheelie next to officers until they chase you, keep tricking while your star count climbs, and cash pays as you ride. A narrated full-guide playthrough of the [Testing] build walks the loop end to end — starting from the scooter everyone gets free, reading a balance of 800 cash mid-chase, growing it to 2,000 cash, and spending it on a crate that contains a G4 scooter. Below is the full loop, the levers that raise the payout, and what the recordings do and don't pin down.
Where your cash shows up
Kukirin Life tracks a cash balance that belongs to you and is spendable in-game. Mid-chase, the guide's narrator reads his total aloud: "So, as you guys can see, now I have 800 cash. And you need need like 1K." Later in the same session: "Now we have 2,000 cash, and we can basically buy a crate like this and open it" — and the crate produces a G4 scooter, "this one is actually faster."
One caveat: the narrator speaks the number rather than pointing at it, so where exactly the balance appears on screen isn't documented. The police star counter, by contrast, is described as visible "on the right."
Cash also gates progression. Crates can be opened for cash, the dealership NPC sells better scooters — "the fastest is the G4 Ultra" — and there is a Robux shortcut the narrator calls "kind of pay-to-win." The money you earn converts directly into speed.
The earning loop, step by step
Only one earning method is demonstrated for this game, so there is nothing to rank yet — this is the loop to learn:
- Start on the free G2. Every player spawns with one ("You will have a free G2 step in the game" — "step" is the transcript's rendering of scooter), so earning requires no purchase.
- Find police and wheelie beside them. Hold Control and keep pressing the up-arrow key while slowly pushing W. Speeding past them provokes them too ("Or if you speed").
- Let the chase build. "they will start chasing you. And then you get more and more stars. It's kind of like GTA" — you can watch the stars accumulate on the right. Crucially, "how more police you have, the more cash you going to receive back."
- Keep tricking. Wheelies pay by themselves: "with doing wheelies, you get a bunch of cash and without doing tricks at all." Style variants add variety — "if you click on V, you can do the no hand drive. And C is going to be one hand." The general rule the narrator gives: "you need to do some challenges, do some epic rides, do some epic tricks."
- Survive the chase. Don't try to outrun police cars in a straight line — "you're pretty much cooked. Because the cars are faster than you." Drive in circles, or "really really go in a diagonal lines."
- Earn again. There is no cooldown to wait out: wheelie next to police again to re-anger them, and events keep spawning during the day.
Ways to earn more within the loop
| Lever | Documented effect |
|---|---|
| Rideout/event spots — big orange circles where "a lot of events happen" | "you will get double cash for the tricks that you do" |
| Trick volume and difficulty | "the more tricks you do, and crazier tricks you do, you basically get more money in the game" |
| Police difficulty set to "super hard" in the menu | "way more and way more cash" — but the police "just start driving you over" |
| Scooter upgrades (battery and motor from crates) | "upgrade your scooter, for sure. That makes that you can get way more rewards" |
| Quests menu | "you can claim all your different quests" — objectives and rewards aren't detailed |
Rideout and event spots are shown by "a big orange circle that you need to go to," and events spawn during the day — so if no event is active when you arrive, the police-wheelie loop still pays while you wait. For the upgrade steps themselves (installing battery and motor parts from crates), see how to upgrade scooters.
What isn't documented
Treat payouts as observed, not fixed. The recorded session shows the balance climbing — 800 cash against a stated 1K goal, then 2,000 cash — but the sources give no cash amount per trick, star level or event, no hourly rate, and not when the police/star bonus is credited: during tricks, on escaping, or on being caught. Watch your own balance rather than farming toward published numbers.
Two smaller gaps matter less but are worth knowing. Quests appear only as a claimable menu, with no objectives or rewards described. And a separate video's selling-agency NPC offers a new bike the player "we need 12,000" for — a five-figure price from a different recording that isn't confirmed to be charged in the same cash tricks pay.
Codes are not a money source
Chat codes are one-time redemptions, not part of a repeatable earning route — and when the full guide was recorded, "there are no codes yet." Whether any exist now is changing information tracked on the codes page, not here.
After your first crate
The demonstrated destination for your earnings: 2,000 cash bought a crate, the crate yielded a G4, and the G4 is "actually faster" than what came before. From there the next decision is scooter-shaped: keep opening crates or save toward a dealership model up to the G4 Ultra. Compare the roster in Kukirin Life best scooters, check how to get scooters for acquisition routes, or start from the beginner guide if you're new to the map. And once a pursuit is on, the escape habits above — circles and diagonal lines — are what keep the cash flowing instead of ending the run; the pursuit system itself is covered under Kukirin Life police chases.
