Kukirin Life: How to Get Fast Scooters (G4 & G4 Ultra)
The G4 Ultra is named Kukirin Life's fastest scooter and the G4 is called faster on camera. Earn cash with tricks, buy a crate, open it and ride away faster.
Two scooters in Kukirin Life sit above the free G2 every player starts on: the G4 and the G4 Ultra. In a full gameplay guide for the game, the narrator opens a crate, pulls out a G4, rides it and delivers the verdict — "Got the G4. So, this one is actually faster." The same guide names the top of the lineup: "the fastest is the G4 Ultra," set against the free G2 starter and the upgrade scooters above it. Neither call was made with a stopwatch — they are the guide's own comparisons — but the G4's route is shown start to finish, and you can copy it: earn cash with tricks and events, buy a crate, open it, and keep whatever faster ride rolls out.
Which scooters count as fast
Every account begins with a free G2, and the guide frames everything above it as an upgrade tier with one model on top. Two named scooters clear the starter bar:
| Scooter | Speed evidence from the guide | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| G2 | The baseline — the free scooter every player starts with | Yours from the start |
| G4 | Declared "actually faster" than the scooter the narrator had been riding, checked right after unboxing | Shown coming out of a cash crate; the guide also sends buyers to the dealership |
| G4 Ultra | Named "the fastest" in the game, compared against the free G2 and the other upgrade scooters | Never shown coming out of a crate; the dealership is the named route, but its purchase is never shown |
That is the full extent of what the guide evidences — a complete tier ranking or exact top speeds are not part of it. Treat "faster" here as relative calls from one gameplay guide: G4 over what its rider was using, G4 Ultra over the field it names. Per-scooter data lives in the Kukirin Life scooter stats reference.
How to get one: the crate route, shown end to end
The demonstrated run follows three moves — bank cash, buy a crate, open it.
Step 1: Bank cash with tricks and events
The guide's earning advice is blunt: "if you want to get cash, you need to do some challenges, do some epic rides, do some epic tricks with your scooter." The map does part of the work for you — "certain events spawning during the day," each marked by "a big orange circle that you need to go to." Ride to it and start performing.
- Rideout spots pay "double cash for the tricks that you do," and payouts scale with style: "the more tricks you do, and crazier tricks you do, you basically get more money in the game."
- The demo run shows the loop paying for real: 800 cash mid-grind toward a 1K goal, then 2,000 cash banked later — enough to fund the crate purchase in Step 2.
- Feeling brave? Setting police difficulty to super hard is described as a way to get "way more and way more cash," with the catch that patrol cars "just start driving you over." More on that trade-off in the police chases guide.
Because events keep spawning through the day and payouts grow with your trick quality, this funding loop repeats — you can always earn your way to the next crate. The full breakdown of earners is in the how to earn money guide.
Step 2: Buy a crate with your cash
Crates are a cash feature, not a premium-only gate: "you go over to, for example, crates. This one you can open for cash." The demonstrated purchase happened with 2,000 cash on hand. The video never states the crate's exact price, so treat 2,000 as a proven workable budget rather than a confirmed price tag.
Step 3: Open it and keep what rolls out
There is no vendor to revisit and no claim step afterward — the scooter comes straight out of the crate. The success check is instant and readable: "So, we got a G4," followed by a quick test ride — "Got the G4. So, this one is actually faster." Open the crate, read the model name it hands you, and hop on to compare it against your old scooter yourself.
Know what a crate does not guarantee
- Contents are randomized. The same crates also supply performance parts — "you can upgrade your battery from crates... you can upgrade your motor as well" — so a crate can open into upgrades instead of a scooter.
- One shown crate produced one G4. That is a demonstration, not a drop rate; the guide gives no odds, and a G4 in every crate is not promised.
- The G4 Ultra is never shown dropping from a crate. If you specifically want the model the guide calls fastest, the dealership below is its other pointer.
- No code shortcut existed at recording — "there are no codes yet" — so this is a pure gameplay grind. Anything added since is tracked on the codes page.
Crate prices, contents and the scooter lineup can all shift with game updates, so recheck the requirements if a run stops matching what's described here.
The alternative: the dealership
The guide names a second door for faster rides: "G4 you have to go to the dealership," where you "talk to the NPC right over here" and "here you can basically get better" scooters. A Robux purchase option sits at the same NPC, which the narrator shrugs off as "kind of pay-to-win." What the video never shows is the finished transaction — no price and no purchase flow — so treat the dealership as a named route worth checking in person, while the crate route above remains the one proven on screen from cash to faster scooter.
Make duplicate crates work for you
A crate that misses on scooters still moves you forward. The guide recommends upgrading your scooter's battery and motor from crate drops because "that makes that you can get way more rewards" — a higher-earning setup banks cash faster and funds your next attempt sooner. The best parts to chase are covered in the best upgrades guide.
That is the whole loop: ride events, bank cash, crack crates, and keep whatever outpaces your starter G2. Only three scooters are named in the guide's evidence — for everything else the game offers, browse the complete Kukirin Life scooters reference.
